Όταν μετά από όλα αυτά τον αποδέχτηκα, ένιωθα πολύ καλύτερα. Μπόρεσα να συνεχίσω τη ζωή μου φυσιολογικά. Όταν τον βλέπεις από τη θετική του πλευρά, όχι μόνο τα αρνητικά που δημιουργεί, τότε μπορείς να ελέγξεις τον τραυλισμό. Μπορούμε να κάνουμε τον εχθρό - φίλο και τον αντίπαλο - σύμμαχο; Μπορούμε! Ας βρει ο καθένας μας το δικό του "γιατρικό".

Όπως λέει κ ένα αγαπημένο μου τραγούδι: " είναι εντάξει μαζί μου, μαθαίνει απ' τη ζωή μου και για μένα αλλάζει πρόσωπα και εποχές."

Ο τραυλισμός έχει πολλά πρόσωπα. Αν καθρεφτιστούν τα πρόσωπα του τραυλισμού μπροστά μας κατά τη διάρκεια της αποδοχής, τότε παύουν να είναι πολλά, είναι ένα, θα βλέπουμε καθαρά το πρόσωπο μας, τον ευατό μας! Μέσα σε αυτόν θα υπάρχει κ το πρόσωπο του τραυλισμού αλλα θα έχει γίνει ένα με το δικό μας!!

Υποταγή συμβαίνει όταν οι συνέπειες του τραυλισμού σε υποδουλώνουν και σε καθηλώνουν στην απόγνωση και στην απομόνωση, ενώ αποδοχή του τραυλισμού στην πράξη σημαίνει ότι δεν τον κρύβεις, δεν τον αποφεύγεις, δεν τον φοβάσαι, σημαίνει ότι ζεις ελεύθερα την ζωή σου σαν να μην υπάρχει τραυλισμός.
Όταν αποφεύγουμε τον τραυλισμό μας τότε παραμένει εκεί που είναι δυνατός όσες λογοθεραπείες κι αν κάνουμε, ενώ αντίθετα όταν δεν τον φοβόμαστε τότε αποδυναμώνεται και διευκολύνει τα επιτυχή αποτελέσματα της λογοθεραπείας.

Ίσως σκεφτεί κάποιος ότι «Αν τον αποδεχόμασταν δεν θα είχε νόημα να κάνουμε λογοθεραπεία.»
Συμφωνώ με την φράση σου ότι «με κάθε κόστος πρέπει να το αλλάξουμε», αρκεί να μην απογοητευτείς αν τελικά δεν καταφέρεις να πετύχεις την οριστική απαλλαγή.
Έχω έως τώρα καταλήξει στο συμπέρασμα ότι για να μειωθούν τα χαρακτηριστικά που συνοδεύουν τον τραυλισμό, θα πρέπει όσο μπορούμε να τον αποδεχτούμε.
