Στα πλαίσια της "απευαισθητοποίησης" (φάση της θεραπείας που στοχεύει στη μείωση του φόβου του τραυλισμού) έφηβοι που συμμετέχουν στα προγράμματα θεραπείας κοινοποιούν τις προσωπικές τους εμπειρίες για τον τραυλισμό

Μια μερα πηγα για μπανιο και καφε σε ενα pool cafe με τους φιλους μου...οταν ηρθε να μας παραγγιλει η σερβιτορα και ηρθε η σειρα μου κολησα...ανγχοθηκα τοσο πολυ που ιδρωσα(ηταν και καλοκαιρι  :D) και δεν καταφερα να πω τι θελω...ποσοι εχουν παθει την ιδια κατασταση?

Πολλές φορές μου είχε συμβεί να θέλω να παραγγείλω κάτι και επειδή θα τραύλιζα και θα με άκουγαν ο σερβιτόρος και η παρέα μου ή έπαιρνα κάτι άλλο ή προσπαθούσα να αντικαταστήσω τη λέξη με μια άλλη για να μην καταλάβει κανείς οτι τραυλίζω... Όμως κατάλαβα πως το σημαντικό είναι να πεις αυτό που θέλεις χωρίς να σε πειράζει αν τραυλίσεις! Χρησιμοποιώ τις τεχνικές ή λέω την λέξη τραυλίζοντας! Χωρίς να με νοιάζει τι θα πουν οι άλλοι. Νιώθω καλά όταν τραυλίζω!
