Η Ομάδα Ειδικού Ενδιαφέροντος στις Διαταραχές Ροής της Ομιλίας του Πανελληνίου Συλλόγου Λογοπεδικών-Λογοθεραπευτών μετάφρασε και προσάρμοσε στα ελληνικά μία έκδοση του Stuttering Foundation of America που απευθύνετε στους παιδιάτρους. Το έντυπο αυτό περιλαμβάνει δεδομένα από τις σύγχρονες έρευνες σχετικά με τον τραυλισμό και τη φύση του. Περιγράφει επίσης τη συμπτωματολογία των τραυλισμών και περιέχει τις απαραίτητες πληροφορίες που μπορούν να βοηθήσουν τους παιδιάτρους να επιλέξουν τα παιδιά που χρήζουν παραπομπής για λογοθεραπευτική αξιολόγηση. Τέλος, εμπεριέχονται οι πρώτες συμβουλές που θα μπορούσε ο παιδίατρος να δώσει άμεσα στους γονείς. Η προσπάθεια αυτή είναι σημαντική και ελπίζουμε να καλύψει ένα μέρος του ελλείμματος πληροφόρησης που υπάρχει σχετικά με τον τραυλισμό.
